Vodafone this week addressed its 23 chosen Platinum partners after merging its dealer channels together for the first time
Vodafone gathered its chosen 23 top tier partners in Newbury on Monday during a two day event which outlined its plans to help grow the channel and push sales of its unified communications product One Net. Details of commercials are expected to be revealed next week.
Vodafone also confirmed of its independent channel rebrand to Vodafone Partner Services (VPS) as exclusively revealed by Mobile News in August.
Dealers were chosen based on a number of criteria including volume, customer base, retention and investment in to levels of service and unified communications.
Vodafone will address dealers who have been placed in its two other tiers, gold and silver, during events on Thursday and Friday. Vodafone has reduced its independent partner numbers to around 400 as it looks to work more closely with quality partners.
Vodafone will evaluate its partners on a six month basis which could see partners move in to higher and lower tiers based on performance.
