Smartphone training for sales staff being rolled out to Carphone stores nationwide
The Carphone Warehouse has selected professional services company Verridian to deliver customer-focussed smartphone training to its staff. The training is being rolled out to 1,000 Carphone managers across the country.
The Connected World workshops include detailed briefings on leading operating systems, software options, smartphone services and packages.
The sessions are geared towards Carphone staff ensuring all customers leave a store with a fully operational customised smartphone capable of email, downloads and Wi-Fi ready, with no additional set up required by the user.
Carphone Warehouse retail learning and development manager Richard Priddle said: “The surge in demand for smartphones and tablet devices has revolutionised the mobile market, and we want to ensure that The Carphone Warehouse customers continue to receive the best customer service and support available.
