Independent retailer Go Mobile looks to expand its chain of shops beyond 114 sites at present with ambitious franchising programme
Retailer Go Mobile is targeting a total retail footprint of 200 sites within 12 months as it rolls out a new franchising programme.
Following its merger with retailer JAG, Go Mobile has 65 company-owned sites and 49 franchises, bringing total stores under Go Mobile signage to 114 at present.
Go Mobile managing director Iain Humphrey (pictured) said seven dealers are currently preparing to open under its new franchise licences.
Humphrey said: “The programme is around community retailing and the parts of the market the network operators and high street multiples cannot reach. We will drive on quality and offer the very best support.”
Humphrey is presenting to partners and prospects next month. Franchisees will use the Sellfone EPOS system, and Shebang’s back-end logistics.
The scheme has the close support of key network operators, he said.
