Symbian CFO appointed to executive director role with immediate effect
Symbian Foundation chief financial officer (CFO) Tim Holbrow (pictured) has been promoted to the role of executive director following the decision of Lee Williams to step down.
Williams has left his post for personal reasons and Holbrow has taken up the position of executive director with immediate effect.
Holbrow has worked with Symbian for over a decade, including roles at Symbian Software and Nokia, as well as in the technology and media division of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He co-founded the Symbian Foundation and will continue in the role of CFO for the time being
A spokesperson said Holbrow is now ‘reviewing the various options for future strategy with the board of directors and the Foundation’s leadership team’.
Symbian Foundation head of HR Steve Warner said: “We thank Lee for his work over the past two years and wish him all the best in his future ventures.
“The board of directors has appointed Tim Holbrow to the position of executive director with immediate effect. We congratulate Tim and welcome him to his new role.”
