Vodafone makes double purchase in move to offer clearer billing services for large corporate customers
Vodafone has bought telecom expense management companies Quickcomm and TnT Expense Management for US$6.9 million and US$2.8 million respectively.
The move is intended to allow its Vodafone Global Enterprise business, which manages multinational business accounts, to offer large customers clearer sight of their mobile and fixed line spend.
Vodafone Global Enterprise chief executive Nick Jeffery said: “Our 570 multinational corporate customers tell us that they want us to help them reduce cost, increase visibility and improve management control across their global footprints. These acquisitions will provide even greater visibility and control of fixed and mobile spend and this, in turn, will further the business case for multinationals to adopt unified communications solutions.”
Software developer Quickcomm is headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and has offices in the US, UK and Singapore. Quickcomm will continue to sell and provide ongoing support for its products, as well as becoming a part of Vodafone’s telecoms management solution.
Service provider TnT Expense Management is headquartered in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, and has offices in New York, the UK, Germany and France.
