Azzurri Communications inks three-year agreement to provide Alliance Medical with a managed service for its entire telecoms estate
Service provider Azzurri Communications has been chosen by mobile and static diagnostics solutions provider Alliance Medical to provide it with a managed service for its entire telecoms estate.
The three-year contract sees Azzurri consolidating Alliance Medical’s different voice, data and mobility supplier contracts into a single managed contract. Azzurri said that after auditing Alliance Medical current telecoms spend it said it could save it 60 per cent on its fixed voice calls and lines spend, 50 per cent on data circuits spend and 30 per cent on mobile telephony spend.
Alliance Medical will utilise Azzurri Innovations’ ITEM (Intelligent Telecoms Expense Management) tool. The software-as-a-service (SaaS) tool will allow all of Alliance Medical’s fixed line calls, mobile calls and data usage to be processed and billed through it, and viewed and managed through an online portal. Specific policies can also be set from the portal to prevent overseas calling, or to limit individuals’ ability to incur data roaming charges, for example.
Azzurri Communications chief executive Mark Quartermaine said: “Companies who have grown quickly by acquisition will almost always find themselves with duplicate services from different suppliers. Azzurri is skilled in bringing these multiple contracts and multiple supplier arrangements together into one, to make it easy for our customers to gain control of their estates and to make significant cost savings.”
