Orange updates Personal Line split number business calling package
Orange has updated the tariffs for its Personal Line business calling package to include three options.
Personal Line allows business to combine two lines with separate numbers on one handset to allow employees to use their device for business and personal use.
Orange said this enables split billing to allow businesses to separate professional use of the phone from personal use.
Personal Line is a 30-day, prepay offer with calls to other Orange numbers priced at 6p per minute, to other mobiles at 18p per minute and fixed lines at 6p per minute. Texts cost 10p, MMS are 30p each and data costs £3 per megabyte with a maximum daily charge of £1.50
Personal Line 300 costs £11.50 a month on a three-month contract, but offers 300 inclusive minutes. Personal Line costs £20 month and includes 600 inclusive minutes.
Businesses signing up to Personal Line 300 or 600 can also choose a flexible text or data benefit.
Personal 300 customers can either choose 300 anytime texts and unlimited off-peak texts, or 150 anytime texts and 250MB of data.
Personal 600 customers can opt for 600 anytime texts and unlimited off-peak texts, or 300 anytime texts and 500MB of data.
Everything Everywhere director of corporate marketing Max Taylor (pictured) said: “Being able to use a work phone for personal calls while keeping the bills separate is really handy for businesses and their employees.
“We’ve made it even more convenient by adding on optional allowances for the things we know people love to be able to use their phones for on an everyday basis.”
