Nokia’s Ovi Store has reached three million downloads per day, spurred by the recent upgrade of its Symbian software. it said.
The company also claimed momentum within the developer community, with more than 400,000 new developers joining Forum Nokia in the past year. It said 92 have so far passed the million download milestone for their apps.
Nokia said its software developer kit (SDK), allowing developers to produce programmes and apps for Symbian smartphones, has been downloads 1.5 million times.
