Vodafone disputes O2’s claim to be the only operator in SME market growing its share, revenue and profitablity
Vodafone last week disputed O2’s claim it is the only operator growing its SME share, revenue and profits.
O2 UK business sales director Ben Dowd (pictured right) told Mobile News: “The Centre of Excellence programme as a concept has evolved over the years to the extent some operators have tried to copy our principles, approach and even some of the language used.”
“When you look at what’s happening in the overall SME market, we’re continuing to grow our base, revenues and profitability, and I don’t think you can say that of the others.”
But Vodafone enterprise marketing director Peter Boucher (pictured left) responded: “Based on the facts and our own data, we know we continue to win in the SME market.
“Not only are we growing our base, but we’re also investing in the segment through innovative products, such as OneNet, and the our Vodafone Partner Programme.”
