New Nokia ‘smartphone for the people’, or those on tight budget, available from O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile now, and from Orange in December, free on £15 contracts
The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is now available SIM-free for £159 from the Nokia web store, and for free on £15 monthly contracts from O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile.
It will be available from Orange at the start of December, which has an exclusive on a grey variant.
The device is not available from the Carphone Warehouse or Phones 4U, according to a Nokia spokesperson.
Nokia UK group manager Sam Lehtinen said the handset “makes technologies from our high end smartphones available to consumers at lower price points.”
The handset has 3.5 G connectivity, WLAN, a five megapixel camera with flash, a music player, FM radio and is compatible with a 32MB memory card.
Users will be able to access Nokia’s Ovi store with phone to purchase apps, music and games.
“The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type brings great value and functionality at an affordable price,” Lehtinen said.
