T-Mobile and Orange both to hand out free gifts to customers buying prepay handsets of over £40 and £30 respectively
Everything Everywhere, the UK joint venture company running the Orange and T-Mobile networks in the UK, is pushing Christmas prepay sales by offering free gifts to customers who purchase handsets worth over £30 on Orange and £40 on T-Mobile.
Orange is offering customers a Christmas gift box worth £70 containing an LTD watch, stocking fillers such as phone covers and puzzles and vouchers for downloads from the Orange store.
T-Mobile meanwhile will dish out £30 vouchers from Marks & Spencer for every prepay handset over £40 purchased up until December 23.
As well as the free gift box, Orange said it had a range of products it would focus on selling to the Christmas market.
The HTC 7 Mozart is exclusive to the operator and is available for free to customers who take out a £35 per month 24 month plan.
The Orange branded San Francisco, by Chinese firm ZTE and running Android, is on sale on prepay for £99 another Christmas market target.
The provider will also focus on dishing out Mobile broadband, the new Samsung Galaxy tab and its range of Orange HD Voice enabled handsets including the Nokia 5230, the Sony Ericsson Elm and the Samsung Omnia Pro.
