Carphone Warehouse has added its name to the growing list of retailers selling the Apple iPad
Retailer Carphone Warehouse begun selling iPad device today (December 3) through its online and retail channels joining Orange, T-Mobile and Three who all announced stock of the device this week.
Carphone is selling the standard Wi-Fi version of the iPad at £429 for the 16GB model, £499 for 32GB and £599 for 64GB, whilst the 3G version will cost £100 more on each memory variant.
A subsidised version of the device is expected to be available shortly, Mobile News understands.
SIM only data packages are available on Three, which includes 10GB for £15 per month and a choice of Vodafone tariffs starting from £10 per month for 1GB, £15 per month for 3GB and £25 for 5GB.
Carphone will offer three Vodafone tariffs – £10 a month for 1GB of data, £15 a month for 3GB and £25 a month for 5GB.
There is only one tariff from Three which costs £15 a month for 10GB of data usage.
Orange’s package has not yet been announced.
