Nokia expected to make UK retail boss Sami Lehtinen’s interim appointment as UK general manager permanent
Nokia head of retail Sami Lehtinen (pictured) is to take the role of UK general manager on a permanent basis, Mobile News understands.
Lehtinen had taken the role on a interim basis following the departure of Mark Loughran to digital set top box technology provider Pace Enterprise in September.
Nokia declined to comment.
Loughran took over from Simon Ainslie as UK general manager in late 2008, having previously held the role of sales director.
Nokia president Olli-Pekha Kallasvuo, chairman Jorma Ollila and general manager Annsi Vanjoki announced their departures from the Finnish firm at the same time as Loughran.
