B2B dealer Arrow Communications has acquired national telephone systems, maintenance and network services provider TMG for an undisclosed fee
Arrow Communications has bought telecoms systems provider TMG for an undisclosed fee.
Arrow specialises in solutions for business and corporate customers. It is a service provider for both Vodafone and O2, a BlackBerry Alliance Select member and a reseller of Gamma Telecom’s products and services.
The company said the purchase of TMG completes its portfolio of mobiles and applications for businesses, fixed solutions and telephone systems. T
MG’s 170 maintenance and 70 fixed line customers, as well as its suppliers and 26 employees, will be integrated into the Arrow business and be re-branded Arrow Mobile Communications. The systems division as well as all staff will continue to operate from the company’s current office in Bromsgrove.
The additions take Arrow’s headcount to 77 across its offices in Weybridge, Manchester and now Bromsgrove.
Arrow Communications managing director Chris Russell said: “We choose our technology partners very carefully and value TMG’s expertise in voice and data convergence and its commitment to installing and maintaining telecommunications systems.
“This really completes our current product set and will see our business expand again in 2011.”
TMG sales director Jo Upton, who will now head up the telephone systems division at Arrow, said: “We have been working with the Arrow team for some time now and are really excited to now be in a position to offer a full range of telecommunications services to our customers.”
