Sprint Comms boss Paul Leonard expects acquisitions and mergers as the dealer market splits in quality
“Operators want alignment with dealers.
“There is a group of top-tier dealers working directly with operators and another group working via distribution.
“The gap is widening. It will force some to thrown in the towel, or else look to merge with fixed line providers. I expect bigger players to buy up smaller ones to boost their customer bases.
“It’s clear the mobile channel is in a stronger position than the fixed reseller community.
“The fixed line market is panicking. Mobile operators will lead unified comms.”
