US handset distributor will return to the country after nearly two years to take advantage of a growing handset market
Handset distributor Brightpoint will re-enter Poland, expanding its wireless supply chain service capabilities to its partners in the country.
Brightpoint pulled out of Poland in 2009 but has returned to take advantage of a strong demand for new handsets, over-the-air technology and an improved mobile network which operate in the country.
Brightpoint EMEA president Anurag Gupta (pictured) said: “Poland is one of the largest markets in Europe with a growing demand for wireless devices.
“The decision to re-enter Poland is in line with our global strategic plan to expand our geographic footprint and deliver unique services to the wireless industry.
“Brightpoint will provide its services to both vendors and the channels, reinforcing our position as the leading provider of value-added logistics and distribution services in Europe.”
