Quartet join UK and Ireland team, all leaving senior positions across the mobile and consumer electronics industries to join the Swedish handset manufacturer
Sony Ericsson has appointed four people to its UK and Ireland marketing team. All of the new recruits join with marketing experience across the mobile and consumer electronics sector.
Juliet Nabavi joins from T-Mobile where she was advertising manager and has previous experience from Dixons Stores Group and Samsung. Matthew Vilatte was previously Sony Ericsson Australia marketing manager, Emma Rice worked as LG Mobile marketing manager and current Samsung Mobile head of channel marketing Georgina Franklin joins the company at the end of February. All will assume positions of channel marketing managers.
Sony Ericsson said the changes are driven by its team of 45 employees moving from its office in Farnborough to the company’s global headquarters in Hammersmith, London towards the end of last year.
Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland marketing director David Hilton (pictured) said: “I’m delighted to have been able to bring these four experienced marketers to our team. Juliet, Matthew, Emma and Georgina bring fantastic industry experience.”
