New service allows customers to pre set credit refills at times suited to them
O2 today launched its new ‘Auto Top-ups’ service which allows customers to pre set credit refills at specific dates or in particular circumstances.
The aim, it says is to make things easier for its customers who can choose, for example to have a certain amount of credit added to their account at the end of each month or if their balance falls below a specific amount.
O2 customers can implement the service by visiting the company’s website
O2 head of consumer Jonathan Earle said: “We know our pay and go customers want to stay connected to their friends and family. This service allows our customers to keep control of their spending but with confidence that they won’t run out of call credit.”
The operator is running a competition on Twitter that gives customers who ‘re-tweet’ a competition message a chance to win an HTC Smart or Samsung Monte handset.
