T-Mobile adds 60 new countries to international calling offer

Customers can now call countries such as Uganda, Nigeria and the UAE for 15p per minute

T-Mobile has extended the number of countries in its ‘International Pass’ offer to 60 as it looks to strengthen its position in the international calling market.

New countries include Nigeria, Uganda and the United Arab Emirates where calls to mobiles will cost 20p per minute and 15p per minute to landlines.

Calls to new destinations will also be eligible for T-Mobile’s ‘International Weekend Rewards’ scheme where customers who top up £10 between Monday to Friday will receive £10 free credit to use at weekends.

Everything Everywhere director of T-Mobile propositions Patrick Coxen said: “ Calling abroad is now affordable, with T-Mobile offering some of the lowest call rates to international mobiles on the market.

“We know how important our rates are to our customers, so we’ve made sure we’ve kept our rates per minute competitive as well as rewarding our customers for topping up.”
