Handsets join BlackBerry Curve 8520 in deal by company that sees its home phone customers save up to £8 a month on their mobile line rental
Virgin Media has extended the range of handsets within its Mobile Bonus deal to include the Nokia N8 and HTC Wildfire. They now join the BlackBerry Curve 8520 in the deal that could save customers up to £192 over the duration of a two-year contract.
Home phone customers taking the ‘XL’ (Talk Anytime) phone package can choose from either of the three mobiles and save £8 on their monthly line rental. Deals for the Wildfire (pictured left) and N8 (pictured right) would cost £17.53 and £14.95 respectively a month with the discount. The Curve 8520 and a SIM only 30 day rolling contract would both cost £7.32 a month.
Those taking the ‘L’ (Talk Evenings and Weekends) phone package can choose either of the handsets and save £4 a month on their monthly line rental. Deals for the Wildfire and N8 would cost £21.53 and £18.95 respectively a month with the discount. The Curve 8520 and a SIM only deal would both cost £11.32 a month.
The Mobile Bonus deal was first launched in April. Virgin Media executive director of home phone and mobile Graeme Oxby said at the time: “As a result of our quadplay offering, we are able to be much more innovative with our pricing and this is a great example of where we are able to provide our customers with a compelling way to get more for less.”
