O2 Media appoints head of content partnerships


Former head of MSN sales at Microsoft Advertising Kelly Wearmouth joins to add to expanding team

O2 Media has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Kelly Wearmouth as head of content partnerships. It follows the appointment last month of Tom Hosking as head of O2 More.

In this newly created role Wearmouth (pictured) will be responsible for creating, executing and maintaining successful partnerships that generate long term revenue value.

She will work closely with the UK’s leading brands and partners and have a strong relationship with the Global Telefónica Partnership team and the Telefónica Marketing Group. Wearmouth will report to O2 Media commercial director Gary Cole.

Prior to joining O2 Media, Wearmouth was head of MSN sales at Microsoft Advertising where she was responsible for commercial management of the MSN.co.uk portal, working across sales, marketing and editorial to produce solutions around content production and drive internal product development.

Cole said: “Kelly has an impressive track record working for Microsoft Advertising and Unilever. I am looking forward to incorporating her fresh insight and expertise into O2 Media and using all of her skills to take our content strategy to the next level.”
