Virgin unveils SIM-only plan and discounted tariffs

MVNO launches £20 SIM-only deal as well as new and discounted contract tariffs for HTC handsets

Virgin Media has launched a new SIM-only tariff that offers 3,000 minutes, unlimited texts, 1GB of web access and unlimited calls to other Virgin mobiles for £20 a month.

The 30 day rolling contract offer is available until July 31, with current customers also able to keep their existing mobile number.

The HTC Desire S is also now available for free on a £22.95 a month tariff that comes with 250 minutes, unlimited texts, 1GB of web access and unlimited calls to other Virgin mobiles.

There is also a new tariff for the HTC Wildfire, which is now available for free for £10.21 with 50 minutes, 250 texts and 50-0MB of web access.

Virgin’s BlackBerry Pearl 3G deal is available until June 30. It costs £7.50 a month and comes with unlimited BlackBerry messaging and email, 1GB of web access, 350 texts, 50 minutes and unlimited calls to other Virgin mobiles.
