Managing director to leave in the coming months after two-and-a-half years in charge to take up a role “not in direct competition” with Sony Ericsson
Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland managing director is leaving the business after two-and-a-half years in charge, as Mobile News first revealed earlier today.
Vautier has spent a total of seven years at Sony Ericsson. He was appointed as UK and Ireland managing director in January 2009, succeeding John Harber.
Prior to taking on that role, Vautier had been Sony Ericsson head of sales for the UK and Ireland for two years and had also been director of EMEA enterprise for Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications for two-and-a-half years.
A Sony Ericsson statement said: “We can confirm that Nathan Vautier will be leaving Sony Ericsson to take up a new challenge outside the company during the second half of this year. We cannot comment on Nathan’s new role at present, but it’s not in direct competition with Sony Ericsson.”
