There’s a big push on the BlackBerry PlayBook. The first tablet device from RIM is available in three models: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. They cost £399, £479 and £559 respectively. Carphone is also offering the BlackBerry Curve 3G with the 16GB PlayBook, all for £37 a month on an O2 deal, with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of BlackBerry data. To go alongside this, there is also a ‘buy one get one half price’ offer on a number of PlayBook accessories, including skins, sleeves, cases, chargers and docking pods. Customers can also now pre-order the HP TouchPad, which will cost £399 for the 16GB model and £479 for the 32GB model.
The BlackBerry PlayBook is also being pushed heavily at Phones 4U, but is priced slightly more expensively than it is at Carphone. The 16GB version costs £399 and the 64GB model is priced at £599. Customers can also pick up a £50 holiday voucher when they buy the Samsung Chat on Orange, Vodafone or Virgin for £49.95, with a £10 top-up. The voucher can be redeemed by entering the phone’s IMEI number onto a form at www.icelolly.com/phones4u.

Data allowances from 100MB-1GB cost an additional £3-£10 a month. The free games can be redeemed through Nokia’s Ovi Store.
