Vodafone and Daisy working on cross-sell programmes


Companies looking at ways of selling mobile and fixed line between Daisy’s customer bases before focusing on security solutions and applications

Vodafone and Daisy Group are working together on cross-sell programmes following the acquisitive reseller’s £12 million purchase of Outsourcery’s Vodafone customer base in March.

The acquisition meant Daisy became Vodafone’s largest managed service provider in the UK and saw Daisy double the size of its customer base, although both companies refused to be drawn on exact numbers.

The two companies are now looking at ways of cross selling products between Daisy’s customer bases before looking at selling unified communications solutions and further mobile-related products.

In a joint interview with Daisy chief executive Matthew Riley, Vodafone UK enterprise director Peter Kelly said: “Since Daisy bought Outsourcery’s Vodafone mobile business and now has this significant customer base, we’re now working with them on cross-sell programmes.

“Where you have mobile, we need to think about how we can sell fixed line to those customers and when you have fixed line, the same rule applies.

“We’ll continue to look at what we call ‘new ways of working’, such as remote access. When you have both mobile and fixed line, we need to think about how we start selling converged solutions and then look at mobile data, security and applications.”
