HSC increases its Orange dealer incentives


New bonus on all business connections in July as distributor claims its six month promotion is proving to be a resounding success

HSC is paying dealers a £70 bonus on all new Orange business connections in addition to the standard price book commissions, initially throughout this month.

The Poole-based distributor said it was the only Orange distributor passing on the amount in full to its dealer customers.

Orange dealers are not restricted from connecting with multiple airtime distributors and HSC hopes others, which do not connect with HSC will “take advantage” of the offer.

HSC marketing manager Theresa Williams said: “The market is tough commercially with all networks fighting for business, but Orange has really listened to what dealers need right now and we are pleased to be in a position to pass all this down.”

Meanwhile, HSC said it had been “overwhelmed” by the success of its six-month ‘Drive Your Sale’ incentive in partnership with Orange, which began on March 1 and ends August 31.

Dealers receive points based on SIM-free sales and new Orange business connections throughout July and August. Points can be exchanged for prizes including an Apple iPad 2, a Tag Heuer watch and a Blu-ray DVD player. A Mini Cooper will be given for the overall highest achiever.

Hove dealer Bluetone amassed most points in March and April and won a trip for two to the Monaco Grand Prix, including flights and accommodation.

HSC sales manager Carlos Pestana (pictured) said: “I have been overwhelmed by the success of this incentive. The difference is that the dealers have been so engaged, as we are keeping momentum with achievable monthly and bi-monthly prizes as smaller milestones towards the big prize.

“Another factor is we have reverted to a personal communication style when informing dealers of progress and results. It has generated a healthy competition between the dealers all vying for the top spot.”
