Shebang secures two more supply deals

Distributor confirms deals to supply mobile products to Co-op Electrical and food wholesaler Booker

Shebang Logistics Solutions has signed deals with high-street retailers Co-op Electrical and national food wholesaler Booker, for the supply of mobile products.

Shebang has become Co-op Electrical’s ‘telecoms partner’, supplying its top 250 electrical stores with a portfolio of mobile accessories, including universal charging products and cases. Shebang said the contract has the potential to be rolled-out to 3,500 Co-op stores.

Shebang has also signed a two-year supply deal with food wholesaler company Booker, adding 5,700 new customers.

The deal will see Shebang initially supply the firm, which operates from 172 cash-and-carry stores and serves more than 400,000 customers, with SIM-cards, followed by mobile accessories at a later date. The deal adds 5,700 customers to Shebang’s base.

The contracts add to Shebang’s growing list of retailers, which includes Staples, WH Smith and Maplin Electronics.

Shebang Logistics Solutions MD Joe Bennett (pictured) said: “This is another example of how Shebang can cater for large national retailers. The experience and knowledge we have gained through Go Mobile and our franchise partners is proving vital.”
