BlackBerry store revamp includes social app sharing and separate channels for themes, apps and games
RIM has released a new version of its app store, called BlackBerry App World 3.0.
The updates include with new separate channels for apps, games and themes and an introduction to BlackBerry ID accounts.
The new store has also had a facelift, including the addition of a new streamlined My World system for seeing an overview of apps and subscription services.
The update also introduces the ability to share apps on social networks such as Facebook, and over SMS and BlackBerry messenger and a revamped search option.
Users of BlackBerry OS 5.0 or higher will receive notifications to upgrade to the new store within coming days.
The new store was originally released as a beta version at the start of August.
