Handset manufacturer makes internal appointment to replace Jim Michel as it confirms UK and Ireland head of marketing Alex Windle has left the business
LG has appointed Warren Lewis as its UK head of mobile. Lewis replaces Jim Michel, who left the business late last month after six months in charge of its mobile operations in the UK.
Lewis (pictured) has spent the past four years at LG Electronics, heading up the company’s IT solutions business.
An LG spokesperson said: “During Warren’s time leading LG’s IT solutions, the business grew by 38 per cent, and we are highly excited about welcoming this experience and fresh approach to our mobile team.”
The handset manufacturer also confirmed that UK and Ireland head of marketing Alex Windle has left the company exactly a year after he joined. He had previously spent eight years at Vodafone in a number of product management and marketing roles.
