Outsourcery becomes O2 fixed and mobile data partner and appoints new director of mobile
Outsourcery has become an O2 joined up communications wholesale partner, allowing the firm to use O2 fixed and mobile broadband to deliver cloud services via its channel partners.
The firm has also appointed Andy O’Connor as director of mobile to oversee the relationship with O2 and manage the firm’s mobile business.
Outsourcery said that the deal would deliver “significant incremental revenue” and that O2 will now be the only operator that Outsourcery works with.
The firm said it would begin introducing O2 services to existing partners before rolling it out to new partners later this month.
Outsourcery channel business unit director Simon Howitt (pictured) said: “As an O2 JUC Channel Partner, Outsourcery will deliver mobility of its Cloud-based solutions to the IT world and fixed line players, while giving mobile partners the opportunity to get involved in delivering Cloud-based solutions.
“Outsourcery selected O2 for its strategic alignment with our vision, and we recognised the importance of a strong mobile proposition to differentiate our unified communications offering in this rapidly growing market.”
O2 head of partners Maggie Kennedy said: “We have been looking for some time at ways in which we could engage more deeply with fixed line and IT resellers who have strong relationships with their own customers through the hardware and services they provide.
“Outsourcery’s flexible approach, coupled with its award-winning, market-leading innovation compliments our own aspirations completely.”
