Orange Business Services to market Huawei video conferencing equipment as it aims to become third largest telepresence provider globally by 2015
Huawei has signed a partnership deal to sell video conferencing equipment through Orange Business Services and its subsidiary EGT for Orange’s Open Videopresence service.
The equipment uses a video certification from Orange parent company France Telecom, and is compatible with other equipment accredited for the Open Videopresence service.
Orange said that working with Huawei would help open up the service to smaller firms who cold not normally afford large outlay on video conferencing equipment.
Orange said that it is already the leader in video conferencing in France, and hopes to be the third largest video conference provider in the world by 2015.
