New tablet to join manufacturer’s existing Galaxy Tab portfolio, to be released in the UK over the coming weeks
Samsung is to release the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus in the UK later this year. It will become the fourth tablet from Samsung following the Galaxy Tab 7.7, 8.9 and 10.1.
The Tab 7.0 Plus, which is 9.96mm thick, will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and run off the latest Android Honeycomb 3.2 operating system.
It includes a seven inch screen, three megapixel rear camera and two megapixel front-facing camera, HD video recording and playback and 16 or 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 64GB with a microSD card
Other features include Adobe Flash, which Samsung claimed enhances the web browsing experience, as well as capability to run HSDPA speeds of up to 21Mbps.
