Nine large LCD digital screens to be used in campaign at Euston train station, running for two weeks from October 3

Sony Ericsson will launch a new two week digital outdoor advertising campaign at Euston train station in London from Monday (October 3) to promote the Xperia Ray handset, which was released earlier this month.

Nine panoramic, interlinked LCD digital screens each measuring 9m x 1.6m have been placed around the station’s concourse.

All screens are used together to tell an integrated story in a wrap around experience as images move across one screen to the next.

The 20 second advert promotes the camera’s ability to take high quality pictures using the Exmoor R for mobile sensor on the phone.

Sony Ericsson UK marketing director David Hilton said: We’re always looking for new and exciting ways top inspire and entertain consumers, and the digital media space in the heart of one of London’s busiest stations provides a great opportunity for advertisers.

“Until now, this concept has been largely unexplored and it’s about combining creative with technology to give consumers a unique experience that they’ll never forget.”
