‘Lone Worker from Orange’ aimed at protecting public sector staff when they are working out of the office
Orange has teamed up Guardian24 as its partner for its ‘Lone Worker from Orange’ safety solution in the public sector.
Using the solution, organisations can pick personalised, tailored service plans to best protect individual employees.
Key features include a discreet panic button, emergency response, 24/7 access to lone worker specialists through an alarm receiving centre, times activities so staff can log in and out of daily tasks and state how long they’re likely to take. Lone worker training and consultancy services can also be provided.
Organisations will have access to Guardian24’s online web portal that displays live user information including GPS locations and enables management to respond immediately in the event of an incident.
Guardian24 CEO Jim Irving said: “Lone working is a growing trend in many organisations, and it is imperative that employers do all they can to support their staff and comply with legal requirements and obligations, such as The Health and Safety at Work Act, 1974, The Corporate Manslaughter and Homicide Act, 2007, and the Health and Safety Legislation Act, 2008.
