As well as the Tech Team, Vodafone has equipped all of its retail stores with its RED Box feature which is able to transfer contacts, texts, pictures, videos and music from between devices.

Vodafone claims the RED Box is able to connect to over 3,500 different types of handsets including some models that are over 10 years old. It can also back up phone data onto an SD card or USB hard drive.

The new services add to other smartphone focused customer offerings launched by Vodafone this year, including Data Test Drive, that gives all new and upgrading unlimited data usage and Vodafone buyback which pays customers up to £270 on their old devices.

Vodafone chief executive Guy Laurence (pictured) said: “Our Tech Team are here to give customers everything they need to make sure that they are able to harness all that power and use it to get the best possible experience from their smartphone.
