Motorola RAZR smartphone available in UK

Latest in “iconic” series of RAZR handsets available on £31 per month contracts from Phones 4U and Carphone Warehouse

Motorola’s RAZR smartphone has been made available in the UK through Phones 4U, some Carphone Warehouse stores and online via the Carphone Warehouse and Amazon.

The Android smartphone, the latest in Motorola’s once hugely successful RAZR line, will cost £31 on a 24-month contract on either Vodafone or Orange

It is also available for £449 SIM-free from Amazon.

The RAZR features a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and an eight megapixel camera.

It is 7.1mm thick, and has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with toughened Gorilla Glass.

When the device was originally unveiled in the US last month, Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha said: “Motorola RAZR is an iconic brand, and one that originally revolutionized the mobile device industry by turning a functional necessity into an object of desire.

“Now we’ve done it again with a head-turning, ultra-thin smartphone that offers users breathtaking speed, innovative apps and revolutionary accessories.”
