A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street
A number of prepay phones have had more than half their original price knocked off. The Nokia C2-02 ‘One Direction Exclusive’ has been reduced from £129.95 to £59.95. The Samsung Galaxy Europa has had £60 knocked off its price and now costs £39.95, and the Nokia C1-01 is now £24.95, down from £59.95. The BlackBerry Curve 8520 has been reduced by £30 and is now available for £99.95. The Samsung Galaxy S II is free from £26 per month across four Orange tariffs– the best offers 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data.
The retailer is offering HD-ready televisions, tablets, Amazon Kindles, laptops, games consoles, Apple iPods, digital cameras and cashback with a number of handset deals on contract. The Samsung Galaxy Ace, which is available exclusively in white from the retailer, is priced at £149.95 on prepay, while the Huawei Blaze is also being pushed at a prepay price of £59.95.
Fonehouse is o ering a number of free gifts with up to 16 handsets, with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, BlackBerry Curve 9360, Samsung Galaxy Ace and HTC ChaCha among them. The gifts are free mobile internet for a year, £150 worth of accessories, Amazon Kindle, iPod nano, Xbox 360, 22-inch fl atscreen television, 160GB PS3, £210 of high-street vouchers, HTC Flyer, 40-inch flatscreen television and an SLR camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S II in white, BlackBerry Curve 9360, HTC Wildfire S in white and Samsung Galaxy Y are all listed in Vodafone’s Christmas contract offers. The Galaxy S II is free from £36 per month, the Curve 9360 is free from £26 per month, the Wildfire S is free from £20.50 per month and the Galaxy Y is free from £13 per month. The Samsung Galaxy Ace is available for free on a £20.50 monthly contract with minutes tripled to 300, unlimited texts and 500MB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi access.
There are a number of offers for upgrading customers. These include the HTC Wildfire S in black and white and Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray in black, free on the Dolphin £20.50 tariff with 200 minutes and unlimited texts, as well as the Nokia Lumia 800 and HTC Sensation free on a £36 per month Panther tariff that comes with 600 minutes and unlimited texts. Any Orange mobile customer signing up to home broadband and calls online will also receive a £40 M&S voucher.
The operator’s Christmas offers include £20 off the BlackBerry Curve 9300, priced at £149.99 on prepay, and the Samsung Galaxy Y, in an exclusive design for O2, now costing £89.99. Both come with a £20 voucher to spend at either Amazon.co.uk, Next, Pizza Hut, Argos or Boots. The vouchers are also available with the Samsung Galaxy Ace in black and purple, which costs £149.99, Sony Ericsson Mini Pro for £129.99, Nokia E5 in white for £99.99 and Sony Ericsson X8 for £79.99. Customers must order before 4pm on December 22 to qualify for these offers.
