‘Cloud Builder’ aimed at incentivising dealers to sell Office 365 packages, rewarding them with high-street vouchers
Distributor HSC has launched a new incentive to help encourage B2B dealers to sell Cloud-based Microsoft solution Office 365.
The ‘Cloud Builder’ incentive, which launched this month and has no specified end date, will reward dealers with high-street vouchers when they sell the 365 product.
Dealers will receive a £300 bonus once they have achieved ‘Accelerate Status’, which requires a minimum of 150 seats across three 18-month signed deals. The money will be added to the dealer’s ‘Online Accumulator’ account, where vouchers can be redeemed or spent online.
Retailers involved in the scheme include Amazon, River Island, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Selfridges and Thomas Cook.
HSC dealers must be a registered Microsoft partner in order to participate, of which there are 58 working with HSC at present.
HSC marketing manager Theresa Williams (pictured) said: “Office 365 provides mobile dealers with the opportunity to win customers that they wouldn’t otherwise have a reason to contact, plus an extra touchpoint for them to make themselves a multi-product provider for existing mobile customers.”
“Unlike the traditional sales model, whereby IT resellers rely on the revenue provided by selling on-site support services and software licences, Office 365 frees customers of this hefty capex spend and turns it into a monthly operational expenditure that saves businesses time and money. The dealer then benefits from upfront and ongoing commission.”
