UK and Ireland marketing head departs manufacturer after five-and-a-half years at a time when company rebrands to be known as Sony Mobile
Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland marketing director David Hilton has left the company after five-and-a-half years to pursue other business opportunities.
Hilton joined the handset manufacturer in September 2006 where he was responsible for all brand, channel and trade marketing.
Sony said in a statement: “We can confirm that, after five-and-a-half years as head of marketing within the UK and Ireland market unit, David Hilton has decided to pursue his career outside of the business.
“We’d like to thank David for his contributions as well as wishing him the very best of luck with his new challenges.”
