A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street
The Samsung Galaxy S II in white, BlackBerry Bold 900 and HTC Sensation XE are all now free from £21.50 per month on an O2 tariff that offers 200 minutes, 3,000 texts and 500MB of data. The Bold 9900 also comes with BlackBerry email. The iPhone 4S is now free on Vodafone for £36 per month. It comes with 600 minutes, 3,000 texts and 500MB of data. On prepay, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 now costs £109.95 on all networks except for Three, with £30 off on O2 and £20 off on Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile.
Similar to Phones 4U, the Apple iPhone 4S is now free on a £36 per month Vodafone deal that comes with 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB of data and 2GB of Wi-Fi. Customers can choose to pay £1 extra on O2 to get the same allowances, except for the 2GB of Wi-Fi. When customers opt for either the Samsung Galaxy Y, Samsung Tocco Lite Design Collection, Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 or Nokia 1800 from free on selected £26 per month contracts, they will get a free PS Vita handheld games console and 4GB memory card to put into it.
There’s £5 off the monthly line rental of the BlackBerry Bold 9900. It is now free for £36 per month with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. There is also £5 off a number of handsets on prepay – the BlackBerry Curve 9300 (now £145), BlackBerry Curve 8520 (now £115), Samsung Galaxy Y (now£90) and Nokia C2-02 (now £75).
The recently released BlackBerry Curve 9360 and 9380 are both available on the operator’s ‘Panther’ tariff costing £20.50 per month. This includes 100 minutes, unlimited texts, 500 minutes and one free Orange ‘Swapable’. There is also £30 off the prepay price of the BlackBerry Curve 9300, which now costs £129.99, with £10 off the Wildfire S (now £139.99), BlackBerry Curve 8520 (now £119.99), Samsung Galaxy Mini in grey (now £79.99) and Samsung Tocco Icon (now £59.99).
As part of the operator’s ‘Leap year sale’, the Galaxy S II in white, BlackBerry Bold 9900 and HTC Sensation XE are all available on the same deals as advertised in Phones 4U. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Note are free on £37 and £42 per month contracts respectively. Both come with unlimited texts and 500MB of data, with the Note coming with 1,200 monthly minutes. There is also now £20 off the prepay price of the HTC Explorer, which now costs £119.99.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is available for free on T-Mobile plans for £26 per month. The first comes with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data, the second includes 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data and 100 minutes, 500 texts and 1.5GB of data. The Samsung Galaxy Note is now free on a £27 per month O2 tariff that comes with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
