20:20 Mobile in European alliance with CEVA Logistics


Agreement will see 20:20 Mobile and CEVA combine forces to push out greater offerings to the telecom space

20:20 Mobile has forged a strategic agreement with global supply chain management company CEVA Logistics in order to broaden its service portfolio in the telecoms space across Europe.

Under the deal 20:20 Mobile will combine its value added services and product and risk management capabilities with CEVA’s logistics expertise to improve clients supply chains.

The companies will jointly provide services such as mobile device and accessory inventory management, retail store replenishment, order fulfilment, online sales solutions, recycling programs and product returns management.

Both companies claim the combined service offering will reduce capital demands of carrying handset inventory, while retaining control of range planning and purchasing as well as improved customer service and efficient forward logistics.

CEVA vice president for technology in Northern Europe Paul Williams said: “ A recent trend in the supply chain industry is network operators asking CEVA for supply chain solutions that go beyond traditional physical distribution services and include value added elements, such as stock ownership.

“This strategic alliance allows us to offer these services. 20:20 Mobile’s capacity to provide a wide set of value added services and CEVA’s integrated Contract Logistics network and services will allow us to jointly improve our customers’ supply chains and deliver them a market-leading solution
