Campaign to run across television, press and online, with TV advert first airing during Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday evening

O2 has launched a £7 million advertising campaign to promote its new unlimited tariff, On & On.

The campaign will run across television, press and online. The TV advert premiers on Facebook today and will appear on ITV during Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday evening.

After airing during the TV talent show, the advert will run for a further four weeks.

The advert features a 30ft tap, dispensing bubbles that take over a town. O2 described it as “bringing everyone together to celebrate and play, much like the On & On tariff”.

The O2 tap featured in a cover wrap on free daily newspaper Metro on Wednesday and will go on to appear in other press and outdoor posters.

O2 UK marketing and consumer director Sally Cowdry (pictured) said: “O2 On & On gives our customers the most value we’ve ever offered in a Pay Monthly tariff.

“Whether they’re choosing to stay with us or joining O2 for the first time, they’ll be able to talk and text as much as they like, while enjoying the internet on their mobile absolutely worry-free.”

The tariff is open to new and existing O2 small business customers. It is available from £26 a month for customers keeping their current handsets or from £36 a month with a new phone.

On & On offers unlimited calls to mobiles and landlines in the UK, unlimited text messages to UK-based numbers and 1GB of data.

Customers can add bolt-ons to their package, including phone insurance, international calling discounts and picture messaging bundles.

As with all O2 contract customers, users of On & On will receive regular text updates on how much data they’re using and, if they use all the 1GB data, no extra charges will be required.

Customers requiring more monthly data can pay £5 for a further gigabyte.
