Micro-P expands into new offices to house mobile business

Hardware distributor takes an extra 6,000 square feet of space following 172 per cent growth in its mobile and telco divisions in 2011

Micro-P has expanded its mobile division by adding 6,000 square feet of office space at MEPC Chineham Park in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Micro-P’s mobile division grew by 172 per cent last year. It follows its move last year to larger office premises to accommodate a 31 per cent increase in staff.

The new space will host a mobility showroom demonstrating mobile and accessory products from manufacturers including Nokia, Samsung, Jawbone, Jabra and Tech21.

Micro-P commercial and sales director Paul Bryan said: “Our successful growth strategy has accelerated the development of the company and we needed an extra building to house our expanded mobile and telco divisions, which grew a phenomenal 172 per cent in 2011.

“Chineham Park (pictured) has been our home since 1991 and the obvious communications benefits make the location perfect for our business, further enhanced by the additional amenities or our staff on site.”
