Former Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland boss appointed by network to oversee its operations through the indirect channel
Everything Everywhere has appointed former Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland managing director Nathan Vautier as its director of indirect sales. He will report to chief sales officer Marc Allera.
Vautier (pictured) will oversee the strategy, objectives and performance of all sales through the indirect channel. His role will span the consumer and B2B channels, including specific responsibility for trading with key indirect partners Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U, as well as all dealers and distributor partners.
Vautier spent seven years at Sony Ericsson where he was director of EMEA enterprise, as well as UK and Ireland head of sales. In January 2009 he became the handset manufacuturer’s UK and Ireland managing director and last September left for Aliph, makers of Bluetooth headset manufacturer Jawbone, where he was vice president of sales for EMEA.
Vautier said: “The opportunity to join Everything Everywhere was just too good to miss. A company of this scale, with nearly 28 million customers across two of Britain’s best loved brands, offers some fantastic opportunities, and taking this role on is a challenge I am going to relish.
“I am particularly looking forward to working in a team which has genuinely exciting goals around launching 4G, overall network leadership and driving the highest standards of customer experience for consumers. Achieving this through our indirect partners is something I can’t wait to get started with.”
Allera said: “I am delighted that Nathan has agreed to join our team, and having worked with him in previous roles, I know what he is capable of and what he will bring to Everything Everywhere.
“Under his proven leadership, we expect to grow our business through our highly valued indirect sales channel, and build on both existing and potential relationships for the future.”
