Distributor combines with firm part of mobile device manufacturer Foxconn Technology Group to provide device lifecycle solution to customers in EMEA
BrightPoint and Foxconn Global Services Division have signed a deal to provide technical aftermarket services to both existing and new customers throughout EMEA.
BrightPoint said the collaboration will deliver a fully integrated device lifecycle solution including inventory management of devices and spares, localised and regional returns management, repair and return services, triage and disposition, product fulfilment and product recycling.
BrightPoint said that be leveraging its channels and global reach, devices will be introduced into new or developing markets at a vastly reduced cost.
It added the partnership will deliver industry-leading technical governance and supply chain integration, which will reduce turnaround times, improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs, inventory and waste output.
