The latest smartphone in Motorola’s RAZR line promises longer talk-time and “pocket appeal”
Motorla’s RAZR MAXX will launch in the UK in mid-May.
The handset promises 17.6 hours of talk time and “pocket appeal” due to a 8.99mm thin case and lightweight design.
Motorola cites a survey by Strategy Analytics saying that battery life and pocket appeal are two of consumers’ top priorities.
Motorola said that its Smart Actions software contributes to power saving by automatically triggering certain tasks based on factors such as location or time of day.
The Android handset features dual-core 1.2 GHz processors, 1GB of RAM and a 4.3-inch screen.
Materials used in the device include Kevlar fibre and Gorilla glass.
Motorola Mobility UK marketing director Victoria McManus said: “Since we re-imagined the iconic RAZR brand, the Motorola RAZR has wowed consumers across the globe by combining the pinnacle of design with mind-blowing power.
“RAZR MAXX builds on those same principles, delivering an incredible battery life that is perfect for people who want to push their smartphone to the limits and banish the low battery beep to history.”
