Med Jeewoth joins Swedish accessories manufacturer, with the company aiming to increase annual sales by 10 per cent
Krusell has appointed former Toshiba UK country manager Med Jeewoth to head up operations in the UK and Ireland.
Jeewoth, who has also held senior positions at Huawei and Nokia, will be tasked with working with Krusell’s current UK distribution partners Pama and Kondor as well as establishing new partnerships over the coming years.
The company, which also has offices in France and Germany and manufactures its cases for the iPhone, Samsung, Sony and Nokia in Thailand, has an annual turnover of £12 million.
It employs more than 500 staff and has relationships with distributors in 55 countries and with 7,000 retailers globally.
Jeewoth, who began his role at the start of April and is based in Cambridge, is assessing where the company stands in the UK market before launching longer-term strategies.
He said the company aims to increase sales by 10 per cent annually.
“Right now its about understanding the business inside out, looking at our current distribution programme and how our partners are working for Krusell,” Jeewoth said.
“I have a lot of respect for Pama and Kondor, who have been key distributors for Krusell for some time now, but in the future I will look at other partners to maximise all opportunities.”
