Manufacturer signs six-figure sponsorship deal to promote its L-series handsets alongside reality TV programme
LG has struck a six-figure deal with entertainment group Baur Media to sponsor the seven episode run of ITV2 show The Exclusives.
The deal will make use of Baur Media’s magazine and radio portfolio, as well as a dedicated microsite, to promote the manufacturer’s L3, L5 and L7 handsets (pictured) alongside the reality show.
The Exclusives, which starts at 9PM on May 17, follows six young journalists trying to become entertainment writers.
LG has also struck a separate deal with ITV Commercial to sponsor a campaign for the exclusives across ITV’s broadcast, online and mobile platforms, including the show’s dedicated website.
LG consumer marketing director Stephen Gater said: “We’re very excited about our new mobile line-up for 2012. Our sponsorship of ‘The Exclusives’ with ITV Commercial and partnership with Bauer Media provide powerful platforms through which to engage our audience.”
