Nokia Lumia 610 to go on sale in the UK from early June

Lowest-spec of the manufacturer’s Lumia handsets to be available in the UK from the first week of June, free on £15 a month contracts

Nokia has announced that its Lumia 610 handset will go on sale in the UK from the first week of June. It’s the fourth handset in the Lumia range, following the 710, 800 and 900 into market.

It will be available from a number of retailers and operators, including Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U, O2, Vodafone and Virgin Media, free on contract from £15 a month.

The Lumia 610 runs off the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system and is powered by a single-core 800MHz processor. It has a 3.7-inch touchscreen, five megapixel autofocus camera with flash and 8GB of memory.

Also included are the Nokia Drive, Maps and Music services, as well as the Xbox Live Hub and Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn widgets.
