Long-awaited partner programme looks set to launch this month

BlackBerry parent Research in Motion (RIM) looks set to launch its long-awaited UK Partner Programme later this month.

Sources in distribution claim the programme, which has been mooted for the past 12 months, is now “imminent”.

RIM began inviting members of the channel to join in May and is now “welcoming” others to do the same.

The partner programme is designed to provide RIM with an opportunity to provide customers with more information directly, rather than indirectly through its UK distribution partners, 20:20 Mobile, BrightPoint and Brightstar.
